With a focus on resilience and post-traumatic growth, my work and curiosity revolves around how a community and an individual tell their story, and can shape their story moving forward.
As an author, and book fan, myself, my lens is often geared toward narration, the integration of events, and their larger impact, whether historical and psychological.
Just like a book, every individual and every community contains many complex chapters in an ongoing story-----with chapters yet to be written.
My Work
I'm a psychotherapist and licensed social worker in New York and New Jersey at Avita Psychological Care, a virtual group private practice, where I see adult individuals and couples, for anxiety, stress, grief, attachment, and life transitions, practicing mainly from a Strengths-Based Lens and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) lens. I work as well for an international coaching company on leadership development, team dynamics, and improving communication. I also run support groups for workplace ERGs. And, I enjoy giving book talks to public and private audiences, and consulting on related historical research.

Background
I come to the mental health space from roots in academic history, executive coaching, workplace counseling, corporate startups, and large NGOs, drawing on my training and firsthand experience to understand how the pressures and transitions of modern life impact working professionals.
